About Victoria

I started my career in the marketing departments of huge multi-national businesses.

I’m as comfortable in that environment as I am with a Start-up Entrepreneur in a coffee shop, planning their next steps, and any sized business inbetween.

Some of the main areas I’ve covered include web design and development, social media, email marketing, affiliate marketing, blogging and outreach to bloggers.

So wherever your business is right now, if you have big ambitions, I’d love to spend time helping you navigate the best path.

You may also know that I’m the Founder of EnergyBallRecipes.com. This started as a side-hustle when I was trying to find snacks low in refined sugar.

I launched a Recipe Kit on Kickstarter in July 2018 and within 1 year I had:


  • A listing with Selfridges
  • Sold kits around the world
  • Counted Olympic Athletes and X-Factor finalists as some of my customers
  • Finalist for ‘Better For You’ Product of the Year at Food Matters Live

…and when I’m not creating marketing plans or creating energy balls, I’m an Alumni Fellow at Nottingham Trent University’s Business School. This means I mentor students and give presentations on topics such as ‘How to stay positive when building your own business’ and ‘Real life work in the 21st century’

One of my other passions is creating networking events, I’ve been a WiRE Network Leader in Derbyshire and created charity fundraising events in the past.

I now run Empowering Events and co-host the shows with Darren Stanton.

A strong background in Online Marketing for FMCG products.

After my degree in Design Management for the Creative Industries at Nottingham Trent University, I immediately worked for Thorntons Direct (Alfreton). My next career move was to manage email marketing at bmi Airline (Castle Donnington) and then affiliate marketing at AWIN (London).

I managed the rebranding project of an internal 'charity cashback' affiliate; Spend & Raise. Generating £4.2m per annum in online sales.
