Multinational marketing expertise which gets results
I started my career in the marketing departments of huge multinational businesses.
I frequently sold £10,000 of chocolate with one email when I was at Thorntons. In loyalty marketing at BMI, I grew on that success through optimisation and segmentation and frequently saw marketing campaigns generate £100,000 worth of airline sales. In my last corporate role, for AWIN, I ran a project that turned over £4million. But as an entrepreneur, I craved to break out of the corporate world and go it alone.
Double award-winning entrepreneur
I left the rat race to set up a coffee shop and deli in Surrey which won two big business awards for New Business of the Year and Ethical & Sustainable Business of the Year. After finding out I had polycystic ovaries, I started thinking about my eating in more depth and experimenting with vegan energy ball recipes. My next business was born. I launched a Kickstarter and sold £2700 of recipe kits in the first month, shipping to countries all over the world.
In 2020 this was recognised with a place in the final of the Female Entrepreneur of the Year award.
I can help you to scale quickly
I work best with businesses who have big ambitions and will make sure you’re spending your marketing budget in the right places to achieve your dreams faster.
I built Energy Ball Recipes from the ground up, developing the website and subscription model then taking it to the next level with market research, financial forecasting and working out how it could best scale. I have exhibited at Excel and Olympia. I secured PR coverage on BBC TV, Sky News, in Woman magazine and Marie Claire. I’ve had celebrity customers, was a Food Matters Live Finalist for ‘Product of the Year’ and gained a listing in Selfridges. I can create you a tangible marketing growth plan to share with your co-founders or team.
Global vision with a local focus
I now work with businesses locally in Nottingham, across the UK and around the globe to grow them as big as they want to be.
I’m an Alumni Fellow at Nottingham Trent University’s Business School. I mentor the students and am a regular Guest Speaker on some of the business courses. I’ve partnered with The University of Nottingham to create course challenges for their MA Entrepreneur Students (pictured).
My other passion is creating charity fundraisers and raising awareness for Kings Children’s Home in Kenya.
What do you do best?
Your business needs you to focus on what you do best to flourish.
I’ll take care of creating a clear path for your marketing strategy and an action plan of priorities. It always starts with me listening to you. Understanding exactly where you’re at and where you want to go. Running a business can be overwhelming. I’ve been on the rollercoaster and I get it. Trying to be everywhere with your marketing is impossible. Let me design a strategy that will work for your business using the key marketing touchpoints that are right to get you results.
We’ll find your true purpose
I’ll start by listening. Then, I’ll bring ideas and enthusiasm. I’ll help you to find your true identity. Businesses that are more attached to their purpose (and therefore their core customer base) will do better. Finding your purpose and really understanding your target market will transform your brand.
Customers tell me it’s like a million light bulbs have been ignited in their head. So when this happens, your business will be able to travel with clarity and confidence in the right direction.
